Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
